How To Chill In A Microwave

The summer, when the sun is shining, everything is bright, flowers are blooming, tropical fruits come to visit our supermarkets and the iced coffee starts to give a tough competition to your regular hot drink. With all of these perils it also brings deadly heat and all its consequences.

104F - 110F is pretty normal temperature in my country. I remember, one of my mother's student telling us how he would stack all the mattresses in his home under the ceiling fan, lay over it in bare minimum with a wet towel to stay cool on hot summer noon.

Now, as smart as that is, we can't go around doing that every day so today I'm going to share with you some tips to take care of yourself this summer and stay cool on the planet Earth.

1) The magic potion

What's the solution to every trouble in your life? What's the one thing that we have more than land and yet we are always in its need? Our amicable H2O! Water is the solution to all the troubles you have. Literally.

So, get yourself some water this summer for clear skin, more energy, refreshed feeling. The uses are endless, be as quirky as you can. A good substitute for this is fruits with natural water content or juice, though that is only limited for consumption and not to swim in it.

Note: for those who have a habit of drinking a lot more water than necessary (above and beyond 16 glasses) you should consume sodium as you try to low down your consumption.

2) The castle

If you are going to spend your time in your home rather than running around the city in search of air condition than the first thing you need to do is know your home.

Try talking to them (the walls do have ears after all) but if they don't reply then observe it. Observe when does it start to get warmer in the day and which room is cooler. Close the blinds when the sunlight is coming in and keep them open during the time of breeze.

3) The Feast

If you have indulged yourself in some delicious delicacies over the winter then it's time to give your stomach some rest. Food in winter is good as it produces heat energy in our body and that's all the more reason to keep a track on it during summer. (Same with alcoholic drinks)

Eat food that is lighter in fats and has some water content. Eat a good breakfast, a light lunch, and a lighter dinner. This will not only keep you cooler it will also help get rid of those extra pounds of winter.

4) The cohere

Now that we have gone through our insides and surroundings, let's take a look at the outside. All the previous points will make your skin better but there are some other things to take care of:

  - Keep it clean: Remember: A dirty surface never shines. So, make sure to clean out the sweat, dust, and pollution that attack your skin. Use natural rose water and toner.

  - Keep it full: Your skin gets hungry after you have cleaned out the mess so, don't forget to feed it good moisturizer. Use a lighter one which can also cool your skin down.

  - keep it protected: When your skin is in a battle with the UV rays and pollution, make sure to provide it with war fares like sunscreen, caps, hats, and umbrellas.

  - Keep it pampered: Your skin needs it relaxing time after the battle it goes through so help it relax by regular scrubbing and face pack.

Stay cool
